| Loseley House by moonlight. This is a fine historic mansion situated near Godalming in Surrey. It was built by Sir William More in 1562 at the request of Queen Elizabeth I. The house is a classic example of Elizabethan architecture and the interior features fine paintings, tapestries and wood panelling from Henry VIII's Nonsuch Palace. This view is of the moonlit building carpeted in winter snow. |
