The Vikings are coming! The boat is a representation of an ancient Viking longship such as the historic Gotstad ship. This would have been 76 ft long, 17 ft beam, weighing 20 ton and built of oak planks. A replica ship made in 1893 crossed the Atlantic in 28 days proving that the original warriors could make ocean crossings in the Viking Age.
