| Mightier than a Steamboat |

This is a view of lakeland in the South Island of New Zealand. Mount Turnbull towers over Lake Wakatipu near Queenstown. The steamboat is the coal-fired
twin-screw TSS Earnslaw, the last of four steamers that once plied these waters. Built in Dunedin in 1912, this 51-metre ship was brought to Lake Wakatipu
in sections and re-assembled. Nowadays, it takes thousands of tourists for a cruise on this beautiful mountain-encircled lake.
