| This is a view over Lower Lough Macnean at sunrise on a cold winter morning with snow on the ground. The location is at Belcoo, an Irish village in Co Fermanagh. Though actually in Northern Ireland, it is almost exactly on the border with Southern Ireland - indeed the border runs through the middle of this lake. We see here a new dawn at a beautiful spot on the lake shore on a misty morning in County Fermanagh. The lake flows out into Lough Erne, in a lakeland area that is becoming an ever-increasing tourist destination and is popular for Irish boating holidays. Also popular with artists. |
