The location is at Belcoo, an Irish village in Co Fermanagh. Though actually in Northern Ireland, it is almost exactly on the border with Southern Ireland - indeed the border runs through the middle of this lake. We see here a new dawn at a beautiful spot on the lake shore on a misty morning in County Fermanagh. The lake flows out into Lough Erne, in a lakeland area that is becoming an ever-increasing tourist destination and is popular for Irish boating holidays. Also popular with artists.
