This watermill is located on an attractive stretch of the River Mole at Cobham in Surrey. It dates originally from the early 16th century and was in
operation for milling corn until 1928. After that, it was used as a shop and storehouse, until partly demolished in 1953 for a road widening project.
Restoration of the mill was undertaken between 1986 and 1991 by Cobham Mill Preservation Trust, and since 1993 the mill has opened to the public
occasionally when demonstrations of corn milling are performed.
